(Washington, DC) -- The White House says President Biden will host a summit next month to address hate-fueled violence in the U.S.
Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre released a statement Friday morning saying the summit on September 15th will also highlight the administration's actions to reduce gun violence.
Jean-Pierre said the "United We Stand" summit will bring together officials, faith leaders and civil rights groups, and will feature a keynote speech by President Biden.
The speech by the President is expected to "put forward a shared vision for a more united America."
