Senate GOP leader: no more big spending bills If republicans retake control

(Louisville, KY)  --  There will be no more big spending bills passed by Congress if Republicans take control of one or both chambers.  That's what Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell said as he visited Louisville.  Kentucky's senior senator argued those measures have created the country's present economic situation.  McConnell's remarks came after President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act into law earlier this month.  At the time, the President called it "one of the most significant laws" in American history.
