(Washington, D.C) -- The head of the U.S Customs and Border Protection agency has resigned following calls from Biden administration officials.
Chris Magnus handed his resignation letter to President Biden on Saturday. This is following a statement from Alejandro Mayorkas, The U.S Secretary of Homeland Security, that Magnus needed to step down or be dismissed. Troy Miller, Deputy Customs and Border Protection Commissioner, will leading the agency's day-to-day operations until further notice.
