(San Antonio, TX) -- COVID, flu, and RSV cases are overwhelming the nation's hospitals.

Doctors say the flu vaccine is still a good idea, although booster fatigue might be leading to below average numbers.

New numbers from the CDC show flu hospitalizations and deaths are rising. The CDC says hospitals are being stressed with a high number of people with other respiratory illnesses like RSV and COVID.

The CDC says the recent spike was likely fueled by Thanksgiving gatherings and travel. Hospitalizations for flu are at the highest levels in more than a decade.
