Senator Cramer reacts to Supreme Court Title 42 ruling

(Bismarck, ND) -- U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer is reacting to the Supreme Court's new ruling on Title 42.

The North Dakota Republican tells WDAY Radio he supports the court's ruling keeping the border restriction in place while legal challenges go through the legal system.

The Trump-era restriction allows federal officials to turn away migrants for public health reasons.

Cramer says the immigration policy is an important way to stop traffickers from bringing drugs across the border.
