(Fargo, ND) -- Roughly a third of Americans have stopped going to church.

That's according to a new study on how COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns impacted the attendance of religious services in the U.S.

The American Enterprise Institute found that in the spring of 2022, 33-percent of Americans reported they never attend church.

That number was at 25-percent before the pandemic.
