(Fargo, ND) -- Tributes are pouring in for the late Lisa Marie Presley.

Presley, who is the daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, died Thursday at the age of 54 after being hospitalized in Southern California with possible cardiac arrest.

Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson said on Instagram that the pair had the chance to spend time with the family during the "Elvis" biopic promotional tour, calling Presley "gracious" throughout the process.

Singer LeAnn Rimes said on Twitter she hoped Presley is "at peace in her dad's arms."

Her mother confirmed the news of Presley's death in a statement to PEOPLE on Thursday, calling her "the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known."

Presley was hospitalized in southern California earlier Thursday with possible cardiac arrest. She just attended the Golden Globes on Tuesday to support actor Austin Butler in his win of Best Actor for his portrayal of Elvis.

Presley was previously married to pop superstar Michael Jackson and actor Nicolas Cage. Her music career included the release of three studio albums, with her debut "To Whom It May Concern" reaching Number Five on the Billboard 200 albums chart following its release in 2003.
