(Washington, DC) -- The House has passed a bill banning sales of crude oil from the nation's Strategic Petroleum Reserve to China.

Thursday's vote was 331-to-97, with 113 Democrats joining all Republicans in supporting the bill.

One of the Democrats who voted against the bill, Congressman Frank Pallone of New Jersey, said it doesn't go far enough. He wants to ban all oil exports to China.

The bill isn't expected to get a vote in the Democratic-controlled Senate.
