(Washington, DC) -- This year's tax season is the first to benefit from funding in the Inflation Reduction Act.
As a result, IRS Commissioner Doug O'Donnell says filers may see improvements in various areas of the agency when forms open on January 23rd.
That's the earliest the IRS will accept 2022 tax returns.
The deadline is April 18th.
