(Los Angeles, CA) -- The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting a 4.2 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Malibu early Wednesday morning.
Residents of Los Angeles took to social media to report being awoken by the rumbling.
Reports of aftershocks have also come in since the initial rumble.
Minutes after the initial earthquake at 2 a.m. Pacific time, officials say a 3.5 quake registered, followed by a magnitude 2.8.
There has been no reports of any significant damage or injuries.
