(Canberra) -- Rapper Kanye West may be denied entry into Australia because of his recent anti-Semitic comments.

Local media reports say the rapper now known as Ye was planning a trip to Melbourne next week to visit the family of his new Australian partner Bianca Censori.

An Australian government minister, however, says Ye may be refused a visa over comments praising Adolf Hitler.

Education Minister Jason Clare said Wednesday morning, "people like that who've applied for visas to get into Australia in the past have been rejected."
