(Washington, DC) -- A record amount of chicken wings is expected to be eaten by Americans enjoying the Super Bowl.
The National Chicken Council predicts football fans will consume one-point-45-billion chicken wings during Super Bowl 57 weekend.
That's up about 84-million wings from last year's big game.
The organization said a return of Super Bowl gatherings combined with more favorable prices are reasons for the increase.
