(Fargo, ND) -- International carriers are dominating the 2023 Safest Airlines rankings.
Australia's Qantas tops the list compiled by AirlineRatings.com.
Air New Zealand is second, followed by Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, TAP Air Portugal, and Emirates.
Alaska Airlines is the highest-ranked U.S. carrier at number-eight.
Hawaiian Airlines is number-12, United is 14th, American comes in at number-19, and Delta rounds out the top 20.
