(San Francisco, CA) -- Twitter is facing lawsuits totaling millions of dollars for not paying its bills.

Landlords, vendors, and other outside companies have sued the social media company in recent months.

The "Wall Street Journal" reported Monday that there are at least nine lawsuits accusing Twitter of skipping out on rent and other financial obligations.

The suits have been filed since Elon Musk bought Twitter last October and has tried to cut expenses at the company, which he reportedly has loaded up with debt.
