(Washington, DC) -- A top Biden administration official says there's no evidence that Ukraine is misusing money it's getting from the United States.
U.S. Agency for International Development administrator Samantha Power said Ukraine is making progress for years in rooting out corruption.
But, in a CNN town hall Thursday evening, Power also said officials are continually checking to make sure funding is being used properly.
She said Ukraine's corruption-fighting institutions have grown stronger since former President Viktor Yanukovych was forced out in 2014 over his close ties to Moscow.
