(East Palestine, OH) -- Workers at the Norfolk Southern derailment site in Ohio are beginning to fall ill.

On Wednesday, the presidents of U.S. railroad unions told Biden administration officials that many employees working at the clean-up site are experiencing migraines and nausea.

They also claim workers are not being given appropriate protective equipment like respirators or eye protection.

The meeting between railroad officials and Biden's administration comes hours after The Railway Safety Act of 2023 was introduced at the Senate, aiming to prevent future train derailments.
