Man pleads guilty to trying to hire someone to kill his son

(Cleveland, OH) -- A dad in Cleveland will soon be sentenced after he tried to hire someone to kill his son.

Desmen Ramsey has pleaded guilty after he dialed a wrong number and left a voice mail offering someone five-thousand-dollars to make a hit on his son.

The murder-for-hire plot was brought to police attention after that person turned their voicemail over to police.

Ramsey says he got into an argument with his son and was drinking at the time he left the voicemail. His son declined any type of protection after the threat was made.

Ramsey will be sentenced on March 23rd.
