"Super Size Me" filmmaker Morgan Spurlock dies

(Undated)  --  The filmmaker behind the documentary "Super Size Me" has died.  

Morgan Spurlock died last Thursday at the age of 53.  

His film where he conducted an experiment that saw him eat only food from McDonald's for 30 days was a hit in 2004.  

It earned 22-million dollars at the global box office.  

The documentary also earned critical acclaim, receiving a nomination for Best Documentary Feature at the Academy Awards.
