(Washington, DC)  --  President Biden is sending his condolences for those killed in storms over the Memorial Day weekend across the country.

In a statement, Biden said he's praying for those who lost their lives to tornadoes that struck Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma.

The President said federal emergency officials are conducting damage assessments and they stand ready to provide any support needed.

This all comes as at least 18 people have died over the holiday weekend from severe weather that hit the country's midsection.
