NEWTOWN, CT — Political commentator and “Info Wars” host Alex Jones has agreed to liquidate his assets to pay off the millions he owes to the families of those killed in the Sandy Hook shooting.
Jones owes $1.5 billion to the Sandy Hook families who successfully sued him for claiming on his show “Info Wars” that the 2012 Connecticut school massacre was a hoax, and that the families were paid actors.
Jones offered a bankruptcy settlement of $55 million, but that was rejected by the families.
