ND corn harvest has above average yields

NORTH DAKOTA – The North Dakota corn harvest is wrapping up for the season with above average yields.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture says 71 percent of the state’s corn has been harvested. That’s up from 54 percent at this time last year which is about normal.

The North Dakota Corn Growers Association says it’s been an average to above average year, but corn yields are varied throughout the state.
