New measles cases confirmed in Walsh & Pembina counties

NORTH DAKOTA – Walsh County, North Dakota has its first confirmed case of measles while Pembina County has three more cases.

Pembina County has nine total cases and Walsh and Williams counties have one case each.

North Dakota Health and Human Services officials said the person who contracted measles in Walsh County recently traveled to Pembina County.

HHS says people contagious with measles were in public places in Fargo, Grand Forks, Cavalier, Walhalla and Colfax.
