(Fergus Falls, MN) -- A Deputy with the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office has been charged with a misdemeanor in connection a double fatal crash back on October 2nd. The suspect, Deputy Kelly Backman. Court documents show Backman, along with another deputy, was in pursuit of a suspect in Downtown Fergus Falls, when that suspect ignored a stop sign a struck another car, killing a husband and wife in their 70s.
