Chauvin Trial Judge Blocks Some Testimony From State's Expert Witness

(Minneapolis, MN)  --  Judge Peter Cahill is blocking some testimony from one of the state's expert witnesses in the Derek Chauvin's trial.  Chauvin's the former officer accused of killing George Floyd last year.  Cahill said Dr. Sarah Vinson cannot testify that Floyd was claustrophobic, filled with anxiety or otherwise talk about the state of his mind during his fatal confrontation with four Minneapolis police officers.  Cahill added if the defense tries to argue Floyd was simply exaggerating an illness, he would not allow that either because it's speculative.  Cahill said he could change this ruling if the defense opens the door to it during the trial.
