(Bismarck, ND) -- Governor Doug Burgum cautions that North Dakota is headed for a tough fire season this year. The governor visited Billings County after he declared a statewide wildfire emergency because of a fire there. Burgum says already this year, far more fires have burned than all of last year. A drought continues to roast much of North Dakota.
