(Minneapolis, MN) -- Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo is expected to testify today as the murder trial of the former officer accused of killing George Floyd resumes. Derek Chauvin [[ SHO-vin ]] is accused of killing Floyd last May after kneeling the unarmed, handcuffed Black man's for more than nine minutes. Arradondo, is the first Black chief in the department's history. He fired Chauvin and three other officers the day after Floyd's death.
