Investigator, Use-Of-Force Expert, Forensic Scientists Testify In Chauvin Trial

(Minneapolis, MN)  --  A use-of-force expert says that George Floyd didn't pose an immediate threat and wasn't actively resisting when former Minneapolis Police officer used deadly force on him.  The expert from the Los Angeles Police Department testified Wednesday in the murder trial of Derek Chauvin [[ SHO-vin ]], who knelt on the unarmed, handcuffed Black man's neck for more than nine minutes.  The jury also heard from two forensic scientists, who testified about drugs found in Floyd's car.  The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension special agent who led the investigation into the case, testified that, ultimately, he heard Floyd say on police bodycam video, "I ain't do no drugs."  The trial continues today.
