60 Arrested In Minnesota Police Shooting Protests

(Brooklyn Center, MN)  --  Police arrested dozens of protesters in a Minneapolis suburb Tuesday, a third day of demonstrations over the police shooting death of Daunte Wright.  Minnesota State Patrol Colonel Matt Langer said about 60 people were arrested for what he called riot and criminal behaviors in Brooklyn Center.  Langer said those who destroy property and throw objects "make it unsafe for people to come and exercise their First Amendment rights."  The ACLU chapter in Minnesota tweeted that Brooklyn Center passed a resolution banning unnecessary crowd control measures, including rubber bullets, teargas, and confining protester in a small area, a tactic known as kettling.
