Derek Chauvin Sentencing Set For Tomorrow

(Minneapolis, MN)  --  Several Minneapolis attorneys expect a Hennepin County judge to give Derek Chauvin between 20 to 25 years during a sentencing hearing set for tomorrow.  The former police officer was convicted of killing George Floyd last year by placing his knee on the man's neck for more than nine minutes.  Defense attorney Joe Friedburg says he believes Judge Peter Cahill will not give Chauvin more than a 30-year prison term.  The sentencing is set for 1:30 p.m. tomorrow.
