CDC Changes Mask Guidance for Local Areas in ND

(Bismark, ND) -- The CDC is recommending those who are vaccinated against COVID-19 wear a mask indoors in areas with high transmission rates.

Areas with high rates of spread in North Dakota are Fargo, Bismark and Minot. However, folks in Grand Forks and Moorhead are off the hook as those areas do not have high transmission rates.

Some are calling the most recent masking guidance inconsistent.

Everyone who is unvaccinated is urged to wear a mask until they are vaccinated.
