(Minot, ND) -- An inmate is facing additional charges after the Ward County Sheriff says he set fire to a cell mattress.
Authorities say Eric Deck was placed in a detox cell after being uncooperative, and he tore open the mattress and set it on fire with a hidden match.
No one was hurt, Deck was immediately taken out of the cell, and the fire was extinguished.
The 39-year-old was arrested in Minot last week on a burglary charge.
