Bismarck-Based National Guard Unit Deploying To U.S.- Mexico Border

(Bismarck, ND) -- A Bismarck-based National Guard unit is deploying to the U.S.-Mexico border.

The 957th Engineer Company is sending 125 soldiers to support U.S. Customs and Border Protection in securing the border. The U.S. Army requested a Guard mobilization to support the ongoing mission that started in 2018.

Governor Doug Burgum says he will help send off the soldiers and visit them while they are on their mission.
