(Morton County, ND) -- No charges are being filed against a North Dakota State Trooper who used deadly force in an officer-involved shooting.
The shooting happened September 7th in Morton County during a high-risk traffic stop on I-94. Investigators say Trooper Steven Mayer shot and killed 45-year-old driver Craig Knutson.
Prosecutors ruled this week that the shooting was justified.
