(Sioux Falls, SD) -- A woman is convicted of manslaughter in a 40-year-old case.
Sixty-year-old Theresa Bentaas entered into an agreement with prosecutors which allowed her to maintain innocence while the court entered a guilty plea. Because of this, prosecutors dropped two murder charges against her.
Bentaas was connected to the death of her newborn son after the baby's body was exhumed in 2009 for DNA testing.
