(Bismarck, ND) -- An oil industry expert says an increase in crude prices isn't leading to a resurgence in production in The Bakken.
North Dakota Petroleum Council President Ron Ness says OPEC and its allies aren't supporting a significant increase in oil production. Officials are also concerned that New Mexico is overtaking North Dakota as the second biggest oil producing state.
Ness says North Dakota produces one-point-one million barrels of Bakken crude per day.
