(Bismarck, ND) -- A new report shows North Dakota has over 600 state employees who are working remotely from other states.
The Office of Management and Budget says the employees are working in 43 other states, including Minnesota, Texas, and Florida. The report indicates not all of the out-of-state workers are on permanently remote status, but that some may be North Dakota residents assigned to jobs out-of-state.
State employees are required to report if they're out-of-state for 30 days.
