(Bismarck, ND) -- The Department of Public Instruction is pushing lawmakers to approve funding for new curriculum to boost movement into cyber security and other tech-related fields.
The DPI says only 15 North Dakota schools offer AP computer science courses and only 44-percent of state high schools teach a basic computer science class.
The agency says there is a high demand from students for computer courses.
