FEMA provided $3.7 million to North Dakotans for funeral expenses

(Denver, CO) -- FEMA has provided more than $3.7 million to North Dakotans for funeral expenses. 

507 North Dakota residents have received the assistance. Up to $9,000 per funeral is available for eligible expenses, with a maximum of $35,500 per application. There is currently no end date for the program.

You must be a U.S. citizen, non-citizen national, or qualified alien to apply. However, there is no eligibility requirement for the deceased person to have been a U.S. citizen, non-citizen national, or qualified alien.
