Teen in custody after ‘threat’ put in to Watford City High School

(Watford City, ND) -- A teen is in custody after Watford City police got word of an unspecified threat Friday at the local high school.

Authorities have offered no additional information about the incident, which remains under investigation.

City officials say an increased law-enforcement presence will remain in effect through next week at district buildings. No injuries were reported.
