(Bismarck, ND) -- On the day of a rally he had planned to run, one North Dakota State House Representative is not in attendance due to a COVID-19 positive test.

Minot Republican Jeff Hoverson has confirmed he tested positive for the virus after getting tested this past Friday, just three days before the "We the People" rally and beginning of the 2021 special legislative session in Bismarck.

Hoverson, who is also sponsoring a bill to get ivermectin legalized in the state as a therapeutic for treating COVID symptoms, is doing work remotely while recovering from the virus.
