November Special Session closes after four days of deliberation

(Bismarck, ND) -- The 67th North Dakota Special Legislative Session officially adjourned Friday, Nov. 12, 2021.

Senate Majority Leader Rich Wardner says lawmakers passed legislation related to bans on vaccines and CRT. They also sent several bills to the Governor Doug Burgum's desk including a $350 tax credit to North Dakotans for two years and official redistricting lines. 

The session convened on Nov. 8th. 

Several other bills passed throughout the special session...
- HB 1508: North Dakota Century Code, relating to a common process for applying to nursing programs at state institutions of higher education.
- HB 1509: Relating to a paid family medical leave program; to provide an appropriation; and to provide for a transfer.
- HB: 1515: North Dakota Century Code, relating to medical assistance coverage for pregnant women; and to provide an availability date.
