(Williston, ND) -- The direct flight to Las Vegas via Williston Basin International Airport ends on Sunday.
Officials say the North Dakota airport's contract ran from September through November of this year. Officials say the direct flight was a popular one, as it was a low fare way to travel to Las Vegas.
An airport spokesperson said he hopes the direct flight will resume again next fall, signaling a renewal of a contract.
