North Dakota Department of Human Services to host long-term care webinar

(Bismarck, ND) --  The North Dakota Department of Human Services (NDDHS) is hosting two lunchtime webinars to raise awareness about in-home and community-based services. 

Older adults, adults who need additional help to live independently, their family members, guardians, and community entities who support independent living are encouraged by the NDDHS to join the webinars.

Two separate webinars will take place...

December 9th: 12:00pm - 12:30pm CST

This webinar will highlight the state's Aging and Disability Resource Link (ADRL). Viewers will learn about the ADRL, referral services and how specialists connect interested individuals to services and support groups.

December 16th: 12:00pm - 12:30pm CST

Department team members will give an overview of in-home and community-based service programs funded by the state and federal government. Presenters will briefly discuss Medicaid State Plan personal services, Medicaid waiver for Home and Community-Based Services, the Service Payments for the Elderly and Disabled (SPED) program, and the Expanded Service Payments for the Elderly and Disabled (Ex-SPED) program.
