Worker numbers rebound, many positions still open

(Bismarck, ND) -- Economic officials say job numbers in northwest North Dakota are rebounding, but many positions are open.  

Officials say transportation and material moving has the most openings, even greater than openings for healthcare positions. Business leaders say high paying jobs in northwest exist, but that it's difficult to get workers to commit to positions.  

Job Service officials say job availability is returning to pre-COVID levels, but there are fewer people in the workforce.
