(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesota's minimum wage is set to increase as the new year begins.

The minimum wage will be ten-thirty-three an hour for large employers and eight-forty-two an hour for other employers. The increase for large employers is 25-cents an hour, and the small-employer increase is 21-cents an hour. The youth wage and the 90-day training wage for workers under 20-years-old is going up to the same level as that for small employers.

Minneapolis and St. Paul already have higher minimum wages.
