(Big Lake, AK) -- A North Dakota teen is training in Alaska for the Iditarod next month.

Since she was five-years-old, Eva Robinson has wanted nothing more than to compete in the junior event in Alaska. Since she was eight, Eva's been working on raising the eight-thousand dollars to be able to compete. Now, she and her Diva Dogs Racing team will be mushing their way through the Alaska snow on February 26th.

Eva is the only North Dakotan competing in this year's event.
