Felony exploitation charge dropped against St. Anthony woman

(St. Anthony, ND) -- A judge is dropping a felony exploitation charge against a St. Anthony woman.  

Police say Allison Guthmiller transferred more than 300-thousand dollars from a joint account with her grandmother into her own during the last two years. Guthmiller allegedly used the money for a car, trips, shopping sprees, and to pay a divorce settlement.  

The charge was dismissed without prejudice, meaning the state could charge her again in the future.
