(Minot, ND) -- The Minot Police Department is feeling the strain of staffing shortages that are being reported across the country.
Heading into the New Year, the department had eight open positions. So far, they have been able to hire three new officers, but still are desperately understaffed.
COVID-19 has been a major contributor to the staffing issues facing the department.
