Study: North Dakota and Minnesota rank top 10 for highest income gaps by race

(Fargo, ND) -- A study is showing a several disparities between racial groups surrounding income inequality.

The study by WalletHub says North Dakota ranked the 7th worst overall regarding wealth gaps by race and ethnicity. Minnesota ranked 3rd worst overall in the same categories.

The study describes the poverty rate of a specific ethnicity in relation to white people in the same state. The example they listed in their survey results say 100% would mean twice the poverty rate of white people.
