(Pierre, SD) -- The South Dakota Department of Public Safety is announcing its usage of sobriety checkpoints for the month of February.

Officials say fourteen checkpoints will be put in place in a dozen counties, including Minnehaha and Pennington, over the next four weeks. Officials are encouraging people to find other ways to get home besides driving themselves, including finding a sober driver or using public transportation.
